The Tuscarawas County Public Library’s Sugarcreek Branch Library will host a representative from the Ohio Bird Sanctuary on Friday, July 14 at 2 p.m. This event will be held at the Sugarcreek Fire Department Pavilion, 152 N. Broadway, Sugarcreek.

The Ohio Bird Sanctuary is a private nonprofit organization that was founded in 1988, originally called the Richland County Raptor Center. Its goal is to rehabilitate birds and release them back into the wild once healthy.

This program will teach the audience about what the Ohio Bird Sanctuary does and how it helps birds and will share a live bird of prey presentation.

Space is limited for this event, and registration is required. Register online at www.tusclibrary.org or call the Tuscarawas Main Library at 330-364-4474 or the Sugarcreek Branch Library at 330-852-2813.
