CAMO Golf Scramble supports health clinic

The Central American Medical Outreach golf scramble helps support programs for children.

                        

Dover native Rachel Foltz is the assistant director of Central American Medical Outreach in the U.S. and project manager of the CAMO: Yoro Project in Honduras.

The second annual CAMO: Yoro Golf Scramble will take place Sunday, Aug. 13 at Oak Shadows Golf Club in New Philadelphia to raise support for the upcoming literacy program in a rural school in Yoro, Honduras and for infrastructure improvements to the only public health clinic in the area.

The cost is $400 for a team of four, which includes a continental breakfast, 18 holes of golf and a strip steak lunch. There will be prizes upon completion of play and a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. There also will be mulligans and skins, a 50/50, and raffle baskets.
