Dalton Historical Society holding open house
The Dalton Community Historical Society, located at 115 E. Main St. in Dalton, will hold an open house on Sunday, May 5 from 1-4 p.m. Admission is free.
The Dalton Community Historical Society will hold an open house on Sunday, May 5 from 1-4 p.m. as the DCHS reopens to the public. Admission is free.
Visitors can learn more about Dalton’s history by viewing the museum’s newly refreshed exhibits and those in the firehouse at the campus located at 115 E. Main St. in Dalton. The Eagle Tavern/Wertz Hotel remains closed to the public as its ongoing renovation project continues.
DCHS seeks yearbooks
Dalton Community Historical Society is looking for Dalton High yearbooks (Luannas) for the years 1983, ‘86, ‘89, ‘90, ‘91, ‘92, ‘93, ‘94, ‘95 and 2022. If anyone has any of these years and is looking for some place to donate them, consider the DCHS.
The group is at the museum the first Sunday of each month from 1-4 p.m. Contact Linda Woodruff regarding donating yearbooks.
