Foxfield Preserve to host natural burial discussion
Hanna Mann, associate director of Foxfield Preserve, will lead a discussion on Saturday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at the Dover Public Library on natural burials.
“Beyond the conservation of land and preservation of natural resources,” Mann said, “conservation burials also serve as a deep reminder of our intimate connection to the earth and our role within the natural life cycle.”
Foxfield Preserve, located at The Wilderness Center in Wilmot, was opened in 2008. It is the first natural burial ground in Ohio and the first in the country to be operated by a conservation organization.
This program will be held in the community room at the DPL, 525 N. Walnut St., Dover. Register online at www.doverlibrary.org/events or call the library at 330-343-6123.
