Health Dept. giving booster vaccine
The Wayne County Health Department will administer a third-dose COVID-19 vaccine booster of Pfizer by appointment to those eligible on Thursday, Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wooster American Red Cross, 244 W. South St., Wooster.
Booster doses are available for anyone 65 and older and 18-64 with specific medical conditions. You must have had two doses of Pfizer and the second dose being six months ago. Visit the Wayne County Health Department website at www.wayne-health.org and then click the Coronavirus tab for a list of the medical conditions and the link to register for an appointment.
No other vaccines will be administered at this location on this day.
