July programs galore at Wayne County Public Libraries
Wayne County Public Libraries will offer events for everyone from babies to seniors in July.
Through Aug. 1 Imagine Your Story: Summer Reading Club will offer the chance to win free books and other prizes for time spent reading for all ages, birth through adult. Join any time. More information is at local branch libraries or online at wcpl.beanstack.org.
Story Times in the Wooster Parks includes 30 minutes of stories, songs and activities in Wooster parks. These weekly story times are open to all young children and their caregivers at the following locations:
—Christmas Run Park, Finn Pavilion off Woodland Avenue, Tuesdays at 9 and 10 a.m.
—Cohan Park, Miller Road, west of Burbank Road, Wednesdays at 9 and 10 a.m.
—Cornerstone Play Lab, behind Cornerstone Elementary School, Thursdays at 9 and 10 a.m.

Science 2 Go: Capture the Castle hearkens back to medieval times by designing a coat of arms, creating a mini-castle and building a catapult. Kits are available for pickup — one per family — at the Dalton branch during July. Kits include all supplies and a video to help with experiments while supplies last. Make your own dream pillow with a mix of organic herbs. This program will be held outside of the Wooster Main Branch Library at the Grant Street side of the building. Bring your own lawn chair.
