Bill “Cappy” Sturtz will visit the Dover Library on Tuesday, July 12 at 6:30 p.m. Sturtz will share the history of Key West and the current vacation industry.

Sturtz was born in Tuscarawas County, but soon after graduating from high school, he made the move to South Florida. He said he adopted a new attitude: “Sell everything, keep the dog and move to an island.”

Sturtz has spent most of his adult life in the Key West area. After years of living and working in the southernmost tip of Florida, he has become an expert on life in Key West. He will have free hand-outs, brochures, maps and coupons available at the program.

This program will be held in the community room at the DPL, 525 N. Walnut St., Dover. Register online at www.doverlibrary.org or call the library at 330-343-6123.
