The Tuscarawas County Public Library will host author, magician and entertainer Jim Kleefeld to present a program for adults titled Ohio Spirits: Stories, Tales & Legends from Haunted Places in Ohio on Thursday, March 23 at 6:30 p.m.

While this program is geared toward adults, Kleefeld holds multiple degrees in theater and childhood education from Cleveland State University. He has performed for libraries in every county and every major city in Ohio. Currently, he is a full-time performer, presenting hundreds of school assembly programs each year in schools all over Ohio.

“This is not just a lecture, but an interactive program where spectators can handle and operate some of the props,” Kleefeld said.

According to Kleefeld, he will provide some eerie moments during the talk. He will cover haunted happenings in the state and give information on places such as the Mansfield Reformatory, the Franklin Castle, The Golden Lamb and more.

Those interested can visit the library’s online registration calendar at www.tusclibrary.org or call the Tuscarawas Main Library at 330-364-4474.
