Love Center has over 400 visits in October
A total of 301 different families came to the Love Center during the month of October.
A total of 301 different families came to the Love Center during the month of October. Some families came in more than once, making a grand total of 406 visits. Food from the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank was 38,891 pounds, and food donated by businesses, churches and individuals was 11,156 pounds. Volunteer hours served at the Love Center totaled 835.
Food and cash donations from churches and ministries included Clark Presbyterian Church, St. John’s Church of Walnut Creek, St. John’s Women’s Ministry in Millersburg and Zion Reformed Church.
Food and cash donations from businesses, organizations and clubs included Ace Hardware, American Service Line, Berlin Natural Bakery, Emma Cates Crust Bakery, Coblentz Chocolates, Commercial & Savings Bank, Dutch Valley/Schlabach Distributing, Farmside Market, Garden of Hope, Millersburg Elementary, Hillcrest Orchard, J-Mar Market, Jitters Coffee House, Kauffman Bakery, Keim Lumber Co., Life Line Screening of America, McDonald’s in Millersburg, Mt. Hope Country Health Store, OSU Extension, Weaver Truck Patch and one anonymous.
