Love Center served 367 families in June
Volunteers donated a total of 870 hours working at the Love Center in June.
A total of 367 different families came to the Love Center during the month of June. Some families came in more than once, making a grand total of 519 visits. Food from the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank was 45,826 pounds, and food donated by businesses, churches and individuals was 8,231 pounds. Volunteer hours served at the Love Center totaled 870.
Food and cash donations from churches and ministries were as follows: Community Bible Church, Holmesville Church of Christ, Martins Creek Mennonite Church, St. John’s Church of Walnut Creek and St. John’s Women’s Ministry in Millersburg.
Food and cash donations from businesses, organizations and clubs were as follows: Berlin Natural Bakery, Boyd & Wurthmann Restaurant, Charm Harness & Boot, Coblentz Chocolates, Denco Marketing Company, Green Leaf Acres, Hershberger Farm & Bakery, Holmes County Home, Jitters Coffee House, Kauffman Bakery, Kauffman Lawn Furniture, McDonald’s of Millersburg, Premier Hearing Center, Sauder Eggs, Walmart of Millersburg, Weaver Produce and Wilson’s Country Creations Inc.
