Love Center serves 171 different families in March
A total of 171 different families came to the Love Center during the month of March. Some families came in more than once, making a grand total of 227.
There was a total of 171 different families that came to the Love Center during the month of March. Some families came in more than once, making a grand total of 227.
Food from the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank was 31,147 pounds, and food donated by businesses, churches and individuals was 9,462 pounds. Volunteer hours served at the Love Center totaled 933.
Food and cash donations came from the following churches and ministries: Faith Lutheran in Millersburg, St. John’s Church of Walnut Creek, St. John’s Women’s Ministry in Millersburg, St. Peter Catholic Church, Union Grove Church of Christ and United Methodist Church.
Food and cash donations came from the following businesses, organizations and clubs: Amish Door Restaurant, Berlin Natural Bakery, Coblentz Chocolates, Farmerstown Auction, Girl Scout Troop #4193, Hillcrest Orchard, Jitters Coffee House, Kauffman Bakery, Keim Lumber, Killbuck Elementary, Mast Trucking, Millersburg Elementary, Sauder Eggs, Save N Serve and Share-A-Christmas.
