This month will showcase Ohio authors. Some are well known, like Toni Morrison and Will Hillenbrand.
March display
Throughout the month of March, the United Federation of Doll Clubs will have dolls on display in Orrville Public Library’s upper-level display case. “Spring Break: A Day at the Beach” will have dolls in beach attire and a selection of books and natural items. Also on display will be tin-type photos.
The display cases were provided with donations made in memory of Morgan Winget, who passed away in 2014. One of the cases is used as a military memorial area. The display in the other case changes periodically, and anyone can submit items for display. Call the information desk for details.
Fraud and consumer info
Recently, Orrville Police Department reported there is a Publisher’s Clearing House scam in the area. Orrville Public Library has a display with various fliers that list resources and tools to help keep personal information safe. Another good resource is the Ohio Attorney General’s website at www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov with a variety of resources dealing with a variety of scams and robocalls.
