Orrville Public Library to host an art day June 3
Children up to age 12 and their caregivers are invited to Orrville Public Library’s Color Our World Outdoor Art Day on Tuesday, June 3 on the lawn, with a variety of stations featuring colorful and creative projects. Attendees may visit a few stations or all of them. Drop in anytime from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The rain date is June 10.
Registration is required to ensure adequate supplies. Registration began Monday, May 19. Register by clicking the event on the online calendar at www.orrville.lib.oh.us or by calling the children’s desk at 330-683-1065.
Children’s Crafternoon
Orrville Public Library’s Crafternoon is a monthly activity for children in third grade through sixth grade to explore various creative techniques and media. Projects vary each month. Participants will create 3D paper picture frames at the 4 p.m. session on Friday, June 6.
Registration is required and will begin Tuesday, May 27. Register by clicking the event on the website calendar or calling the children’s department at 330-683-1065.
Cookbook Club
Summer is for backyard cookouts, whether using a grill, fire pit or campfire. Choose a cookbook from Orrville Public Library’s display and pick one or two recipes. Prepare a dish to share potluck-style at the Cookbook Club.
The club will meet Monday, June 2 at 6 p.m. No registration is required.
