The first Grant Kindness Golf Outing is May 31
The First Grant Kindness Golf Outing, in memory of Grant Haney, will be held Saturday, May 31 at Five Waters Golf Course in Midvale. The cost is $80 per person and $320 per team with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
There will be raffles, games, prizes, DiRusso’s sausage on the turn and a steak dinner at the end.
All proceeds from the golf outing will help provide scholarships and continue the vision of the foundation.
Grant Kindness is a nonprofit organization created to honor the life of Grant Haney, who at age 15 died by suicide due to cyberbullying.
The foundation is dedicated to creating a safer, more supportive environment for children and young adults affected by bullying and suicide. The mission includes raising awareness, providing age-appropriate resources like the implementation of the Hope Squad at Claymont School System (with other school districts to follow), fostering inclusive environments where young people feel heard and valued, and providing scholarships to graduating seniors interested in history and art.
