VFW Auxiliary meeting
The next VFW Auxiliary meeting will be Dec. 21 at 6:15 p.m.
President Mary Savoie called the meeting to order with nine members. The guard position was protem by Becky May. Thank-you cards were received from Nancy Kimball and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital for a $25 memory donation.
A motion was made by Judy Martin and seconded by Bonnie Blacka to give a $100 gift card to the Tuscarawas County Friends of the Homeless shelter. A motion was made by Blacka and seconded by Joanne Marzi to give a $100 gift card to the Greater Dover New Philadelphia Food Pantry. A motion was made by May and seconded by Blacka to give seven $20 gift cards to auxiliary members in nursing homes for Christmas.
The charter was draped for Margaret Stocker. The next meeting will be Dec. 21 at 6:15 p.m.
