The discussion will complement this year’s NEA Big Read book selection, “Can’t We Talk About Something More Pleasant?” by New Yorker magazine cartoonist Roz Chast.

                        

In collaboration with the NEA Big Read, Strauss Furniture will host a virtual book talk on Saturday, Aug. 8 at 4 p.m. Discussion leader John Strauss will guide conversation about the graphic memoir, “Can’t We Talk About Something More Pleasant?”

The Zoom session is free and open to the public. Required reservations may be made by emailing john@straussfurniture.com.

Free copies of the book can be obtained at the Massillon Museum as long as the supply lasts.

NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest. The Massillon Museum’s annual Big Read, presented in conjunction with the Massillon Public Library, is partially funded by the Massillon/North Canton Elks #2029 and The Rotary Club of Massillon.
