Volleyball preview set for Aug. 9 at Crater Stadium
The Dover Tornado Club will host the 2025 Tuscarawas County Volleyball Preview Saturday, Aug. 9, at Crater Stadium. The event is presented by AultCare and will showcase top volleyball programs from across the county.
Gates will open at 3 p.m. The first match begins at 4:15 p.m., and matches will continue into the evening.

– 4:00–4:15 p.m., warm-up: Claymont vs. Newcomerstown
– 4:15–5:00 p.m., match play: Claymont vs. Newcomerstown
– 5:00–5:15 p.m., warm-up: Garaway vs. Strasburg
– 5:15–6:00 p.m., match play: Garaway vs. Strasburg
– 6:00–6:15 p.m., warm-up: Tusky Valley vs. Tuscarawas Central Catholic
– 6:15–7:00 p.m., match play: Tusky Valley vs. Tuscarawas Central Catholic
– 7:00–7:30 p.m., intermission with Tuscarawas County Hall of Fame spotlight and fan contests
– 7:30–7:45 p.m., warm-up: New Philadelphia vs. Indian Valley
– 7:45–8:30 p.m., match play: New Philadelphia vs. Indian Valley
– 8:30–8:45 p.m., warm-up: Dover vs. Hiland
– 8:45–9:30 p.m., match play: Dover vs. Hiland
The preview offers fans a chance to see their teams in action before the start of the fall season, along with community activities during intermission.
“The planning for this event was done by the Dover Tornado Club in hopes of giving our community volleyball teams the spotlight they deserve,” said Brandon Begue, president of the Dover Tornado Club. “As a volleyball dad, I know the hard work and sacrifice these young women put in, and we wanted to create something special that is focused exclusively on them.”
