Volunteers offer companionship support, as well as respite coverage for families so they may get a break. Options for job assignments may include pet visits, spiritual companion, music/arts companion, life biographer, general visitation and office work.

                        

Interim Hospice is seeking new applicants for the volunteer program for the Coshocton, Holmes and Tuscarawas areas.

Volunteers offer companionship support, as well as respite coverage for families so they may get a break. Specific assignments are based on patients’ needs and the volunteers’ availability and interests. Options for job assignments may include pet visits, spiritual companion, music/arts companion, life biographer, general visitation and office work.

The next volunteer training program will be offered in January. Anyone interested in applying must complete an application, interview, background check and TB testing. Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old. For more information call Angel at 740-623-2331.
