WCCF’s GIVE 365 supports community wellness in 2025
GIVE 365 Wayne County, the dollar-a-day philanthropy initiative of the Wayne County Community Foundation, is accepting grant applications from area nonprofits. The theme for this year’s grant cycle, as voted on by the GIVE 365 membership, is “Community Wellness and Success: Creating a supportive environment where everyone can flourish together.”
Now in its ninth year, GIVE 365 unites and informs emerging philanthropists to make a collective impact on Wayne County. Members donate $365 a year, pool their money with others, and vote on both an annual grant-making theme and grant recipients. GIVE 365 gives members the chance to actively participate in the grant process.
The 2025 grant will fund programs or projects that address aspects of community wellness and success including access to basic needs like food and shelter, physical health, mental health, social connection, education, and drug treatment and prevention. The broadness of the theme this year will allow for members to review proposals on an array of topics.
Nonprofit organizations with new or existing initiatives that promote physical, mental and social health for Wayne County citizens are encouraged to apply. All grant applications should respond to this theme. Grant applications must be completed online at www.WCCFOH.org by March 1 at 11:59 p.m. The membership of GIVE 365 will review all applications and make their recommendation to the foundation’s board of trustees. Organizations may be asked to meet with the membership of GIVE 365 to respond to questions about their proposals.
With over 100 current members, comprised of individuals, couples and families, GIVE 365 will grant approximately $25,000 this year, with additional funds set aside in a permanently endowed fund for future growth.
