WCPL Summer Reading Club now underway

Through Aug. 1 Imagine Your Story: Summer Reading Club will take place for all ages, birth through adult. Win free books and other prizes for the time you spend reading. Join any time. More information is available at your local branch library or online at wcpl.beanstack.org.
Through June 28 the WCPL writing contest for age 5 through adult will take place. Categories include short story (illustrated or unillustrated), poetry, comics and memoir (teens and adults). The top-three selections in each age range and a People’s Choice will be published in an anthology by WCPL. More information and entry forms are available at all WCPL locations or at www.wcpl.info.
Story times in Wooster parks include 30 minutes of stories, songs and activities in Wooster parks. These programs began the week of June 15 and include the following times and locations: Christmas Run Park Finn Pavilion (off Woodland Avenue), Tuesdays at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.; Cohan Park (Miller Road, west of Burbank Road), Wednesdays at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.; and Cornerstone Play Lab, behind Cornerstone Elementary School, Thursdays at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Register at the main library in Wooster at the children’s department by calling 330-262-0916 or visit www.wcpl.info.
