“Rodney’s dynamic professional background and his personal dedication to professional engineering will serve NSPE-Ohio well during his tenure as president,” Executive Director Tim Schaffer said.

Wilson, a member of NSPE-Ohio, and his wife Candace reside in New Philadelphia. He is a past chair of NSPE-Ohio’s Professional Engineers in Government practice division. Together, Rodney and Candace Wilson earned the EFO President’s Award in 2018.

NSPE-Ohio, a state society of the National Society of Professional Engineers, was established in 1878 to promote the ethical conduct of practicing engineers, high standards for engineering education, and to advance public safety and welfare. NSPE-Ohio represents all disciplines and interest groups of the engineering profession: industry, private practice, government, construction and education.
