Wilson selected as new president
Rodney Wilson, P.E., was elected president-elect of the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers at the organization’s 145th annual meeting. As president-elect, he will help guide the legislative, educational and service activities for the engineering profession in Ohio.
With a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, Wilson is retired from both the Ohio Department of Transportation District 11 (New Philadelphia) and W.E. Quicksall & Associates.
Over his career Wilson worked in traffic engineering and on the maintenance of traffic and construction projects. Wilson, a member of NSPE-Ohio, and his wife Candace reside in New Philadelphia. He is a past chair of NSPE-Ohio’s Professional Engineers in Government interest group. Together, Rod and Candie Wilson earned the EFO President’s Award in 2018.
