Hatcher opens Millersburg insurance office in senior center

Bridget Hatcher, an independent licensed agent with SSIP Insurance Partners, recently opened an office inside the Darb Snyder Senior Center.
Hatcher is certified with A+ rated Medicare Supplement, Prescription Drug and Medicare Advantage insurance plans and represents most major companies with a Medicare contract. She helps people maximize their retirement income, set up tax-free retirement plans, plan for long-term care needs, arrange final expense plans and more.
“I am proud to be serving our seniors at the senior center alongside some of the most caring individuals I have ever met,” said Hatcher, who opened her office in January 2024.
Hatcher is mostly focused on serving seniors and those nearing retirement age, but she also serves younger generations by offering health insurance, life insurance and retirement income planning.
She is working on community outreach by hosting a range of educational events including Medicare 101, How to Avoid Scams, Social Security Basics and more.
“My passion for insurance comes from knowing that I have the ability to protect people and their family,” she said. “I know how confusing health insurance, especially Medicare, and retirement planning can be, and I am here to help.”
As a young adult, Hatcher worked as a nurse’s assistant while in college. Her education consists of an associate degree in business, a bachelor’s degree in human services and a master’s degree in organizational psychology. She also worked in human resources for eight years, holding the position of HR director and safety manager.
“After working in both nursing and HR, I decided to combine my experience helping folks and become an insurance agent,” said Hatcher, who is licensed in the state of Ohio, certified in long-term care and is a registered Social Security analyst.
Hatcher is a lifelong Ohio resident. She has four children — two girls and two boys. Some of her hobbies are beekeeping, gardening, canning, hiking, spending time outdoors, traveling and spending time helping people in her community.
