Homer Hott Goes to Hollywood, a new program offered by the Holmes County Historical Society, will be held Thursday, July 28 at 7 p.m. at the Holmesville Church of Christ in Holmesville.

Guests will get a look at the life of Holmesville native Homer Hott, whose life took him to produce live stage shows and feature movies and work for Wright Patterson Air Force Base. His circa 1950s Navajo Indian Nation feature film shot on location in Arizona was recently digitized by the Holmes County Historical Society from the original 16-mm sound movie.

Dee Ann Lemon, currently of Holmesville, is Hott’s daughter and will be at the program.
