Learn to work with images at Orrville library
GIMP is a free and open alternative source to Adobe Photoshop. Orrville Public Library will partner with staff from Massillon Public Library as they teach how to edit and manipulate images with this program.
The free program will be held in Orrville Public Library’s lower-level meeting room on Thursday, June 15 at 5:30 p.m. Registration is required. Register by clicking the event on the website calendar at www.orrville.lib.oh.us or by calling the information desk at 330-683-1065.
Career Expo
Orrville Public Library will partner with Ohio Department of Job & Family Services for a Career Expo on Tuesday, June 20. Representatives from local businesses will be at the library from 5-7 p.m. showcasing their business and their current job openings. Stop by any time. No appointment is needed.
Family Cookbook
In keeping with Orrville Public Library’s “All Together Now” summer reading program theme, families with kids up to sixth grade are invited to pick up a copy of “The Big Fun Kids Cookbook” in the children’s department, choose a recipe to make as a family and then bring it to share with others for dinner on Thursday, June 29 at 6 p.m.
