Veterans' coffee group, resource fair upcoming
The Wayne County Veterans Service Commission will hold its next monthly Veteran's Coffee Group on Tuesday, Aug. 13 from 9-10:30 a.m. at Best Western Plus, 243 E. Liberty St., Wooster.
The Wayne County Veterans Service Commission will hold its next monthly Veteran’s Coffee Group on Tuesday, Aug. 13 from 9-10:30 a.m. at Best Western Plus, 243 E. Liberty St., Wooster.
The monthly event, held the second Tuesday of each month, provides free coffee and breakfast to all Wayne County veterans and their spouses.
To register, email sporter@waynecountyveterans.org, stop by the Veterans Service Commission at 356 W. North St. in Wooster or call 330-345-6638. The registration deadline is Aug. 9.
Resource Fair
The 2024 Wayne County Veterans Resource Fair will be held Thursday, Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Greystone Event Center, 50 Riffle Road, Wooster.
All veterans are invited to the event, which will provide area veterans with access to resources including benefits and health services, job opportunities, and educational programs.
