ORHS to offer new ride opportunity
The Orrville Railroad Heritage Society will offer a new ride opportunity this year: the vintage, privately owned Car No. 208, called Phanton.
The Orrville Railroad Heritage Society’s 2023 schedule of rides will begin April 29, and there is a new ride opportunity this year.
Passengers now can purchase tickets to ride in the vintage, privately owned Car No. 208, called Phanton. Rides in the open-air Car No. 501 also will be available. Phanton coach rides will be $20, plus online ticketing fees, and open-air car rides will remain $15, plus online ticketing fees. During all ORHS-sponsored events, the 1868 Pennsylvania Railroad Depot Museum and Gift Shop are always open. Lots of artifacts are viewable along with various operating model train layouts.
