When you do what you love, you love what you do. Such is the case for Paul and Mary Lou Staats. In 1994 they turned a hobby into a business. That business is Valley ATV. What began with 50 vehicles in a small pole barn in Danville has grown into a two-story showroom that employs more than 10 people. The Staats pride themselves on being retailers of North American-made ATVs and accessories. They began selling Polaris, a Minnesota manufactured brand that today is a well-known and trusted brand. They later added the Can-Am Line, a world leader in the design, manufacturing, distribution, and marketing of motorized recreational vehicles and power sports engines. Valley ATV employees four mechanics, all certified to maintain and repair all makes and models of ATVs. A service area that is stocked with the most modern, state-of-the-art tools and diagnostic equipment means customers will be back on the trail in no time at all. The parts department is stocked with plenty of original manufactured equipment and after-market parts and accessories for ATVs and side-by-sides with same day shipping available via UPS. The sales staff can help you decide what products best serve your needs to ensure complete satisfaction. An extensive website allows customers to shop from home. New and pre-owned inventory can be viewed with full descriptions of each item. Parts and accessories can easily be ordered online. An easy-to-use payment calculator makes it easy for customers to estimate the cost of their purchases. With all the conveniences, Valley ATV wants you to come in and see for yourself why they are the premier dealer in the region. They maintain a dirt test track for customers with the simple philosophy, why test it on black top if you aren’t going to ride it on black top. Valley ATV sponsors various events for families, couples and singles in the region and beyond. Arrangements for out of town and out of state events can be made for housing and meals and even vehicle transport. Details about future excursions can be found on the website, which is updated every four to six weeks. This family-owned business continues to grow to meet the changing needs of today’s ATV and side-by-side customer. The shop is closed on Sunday. They close the week between Christmas and New Year and take a long weekend Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. Valley ATV 27475 Jelloway Road, Danville 740-599-7977 www.valleyatv.com
