Children

Lots of Literacy: Large Motor Skills will take place Tuesday, Nov. 7 from 10-11 a.m. Help your toddler develop large motor skills like jumping, dancing, pushing, throwing, catching, building and walking. Registration for age 18-36 months is underway.

All for Pie will take place Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 10-11 a.m. Explore fractions and money and make a mini pie to take home. Registration for age 3-5 is underway.

Explore Northwest Native Art will take place Friday, Nov. 10 from 1-3 p.m. Celebrate Native American Heritage Month by learning about and making art inspired by Pacific Northwest Coast tribal nations. Explore different ways to replicate the formline design style with paints, paper and other mediums.

Roar and Explore: Discovering Dinosaurs at the Library will take place Saturday, Nov. 11 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Engage in interactive learning activities about dinosaurs through multi-station exploration. This event is for children of all ages and will be in the story time room.

Pom-Pom Turkey pickup will be Nov. 4-11 at the children’s department desk. Create a little turkey out of a pom-pom. The kit includes directions and all materials, except glue and scissors. Registration for age 8-12 is underway.

Paper Lantern Kit pickup will be Nov. 13-18 at the children’s department desk. Each kit contains all the supplies needed to create a tissue paper lantern including lights. Registration for age 7-12 is underway.

Library Lego League will be Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Each meeting will have a theme or challenge, and all Lego bricks will be provided. This event is for children age 5-12, and adult caregivers are welcome.

A Lot of Love for the Axolotl will take place Nov. 17 from 4:30-5:15 p.m. The axolotl is an amphibian named after the Aztec god of fire and lightning. Come make one of these little creatures to take home. There will be a variety of colors and accessories. Registration for age 7-12 will begin Nov. 6.

Teens

Craft a Snack: Caramel Apple Bar will take place Nov. 8. Stop by for a treat you can craft. Registration for age 13-18 is required.

On Monday, Nov. 13 at 3:30 p.m., cook different things in a muffin tin and try your creations. Registration for age 13-18 is required.

D&D at the Library will be Tuesdays, Nov. 14 and 28 at 4 p.m. Join to play D&D in the teen room.

Teen and adult (13 and up)

Just Journal will be Saturday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. Bring any kind of journal and supplies and join in monthly for a mix of quiet time, journal prompts and socializing. Registration for age 14 and up is required.

Classic Cinema Club will meet Thursdays at 6 p.m. with “The Wizard of Oz” (1939) on Nov. 16. No registration is required.

Take and Make Kit: Little Bag of Fall Hygge will be available Monday, Nov. 6. This autumn hygge kit includes tea, tea light, pumpkin spice mix and recipes and the materials for a fall dream pillow and decoupage candle holder. Registration is required — one per family. Pick up the kit at the reference desk in the adult department.

Take and Make Kit: Hand-Stitched Holiday Ornament Cards will be available Monday, Nov. 13. All materials and instructions will be provided, along with a link to the how-to video. Pick up the kit at the reference desk in the adult department.

Adult

Tuesday Crafternoon will take place Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. for festive fall aprons with Cricut, no experience necessary. On Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 2 p.m., DIY yarn wall hanging will take place with no experience necessary. Registration for adults is required.

Don’t Be a Couch Potato Aerobics will be Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. and Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. This walking workout equals approximately 2 miles. Wear comfy shoes and clothes. This event will be at the Recreation and Community Center, 241 S. Bever St., Wooster.

Ask the Genealogist will take place Thursday, Nov. 16 from 1-4 p.m. Schedule a one-hour session with the genealogy librarian to receive one-on-one assistance with genealogy and/or local history questions. Registration is required.
