Ray Vanderlaan, beloved Bible teacher and founder of That the World May Know Ministries, will be speaking in two evening sessions and one full-day session at Harvest Church of the Nazarene, 531 Dover Road NE, Sugarcreek, on Oct. 29, 30, and 31.
Vanderlaan will present The Exodus, Journeying from The Land of Goshen (bondage, Egypt) to the Land of Milk and Honey (freedom, Israel) and will help attendees understand the Biblical accounts in the context of the Hebrew culture, on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 29 and 30, from 6-9:30 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 31, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Lee Byler, of Millersburg, accompanied Vanderlaan on a recent trip to Israel. His response to Vanderlaan’s teaching was very enthusiastic. “I will never be the same. The two weeks I spent immersed in the text with Ray Vanderlaan in Israel has impacted my walk with the Lord in a powerful way and has forever changed my study of the Bible. Ray is a gifted communicator and has spent the past 32 years passionately learning and teaching during more than 200 trips to the land of the Bible. You won’t want to miss this event.”
Each session will build on the previous one and is accompanied with compelling PowerPoint presentations. Vanderlaan’s Web site is www.followtherabbi.com. Selected resources will be available at the event.
The session is free, but donations will be accepted. No reservations are required.
