Save & Serve Thrift Shop kicked off February with a packed store and a spirit of generosity as customers helped raise $4,806.05 to support Young Life of Holmes County.

During this special Benefit Day, 100 percent of sales were donated to Young Life, a Christian ministry dedicated to mentoring and supporting local youth. Volunteers from Young Life joined in by cashiering and connecting with shoppers throughout the day.

“This is what community looks like — people coming together to make a difference,” said Eric Raber, General Manager of Save & Serve. “Young Life is helping young people build meaningful relationships and grow in faith, and we’re honored to support their mission.”

Benefit Days are central to Save & Serve’s mission, with all sales on select days going directly to organizations that support local causes. Save & Serve is a nonprofit thrift store in Holmes County supporting local and global relief, development, and peace projects of the Mennonite Central Committee.
