Sirius Black is the Cat of the Week. He is a 6-month-old male who has awesome markings and a great personality to match. His adoption fee has been reduced to $45 for a limited time. He is up to date on shots and has been neutered.
The first step to the adoption process is to fill out an application from the website or at the shelter. The shelter adopts in order of applications received and approval of veterinary and landlord references.
Sirius Black is available for adoption at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, 1432 Tall Timber Road NE in New Philadelphia. Shelter hours are Monday from 1-4 p.m.; Tuesday from 1-7 p.m.; and Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 p.m. The shelter is closed on Thursday. For more information call 330-343-6060.
