For 35 years Quailcrest Farm has been serving Wayne County and visitors from all over the region and beyond. The family-owned farm will reopen for the season March 27.
Guests will be greeted with herbs, perennials, flowering trees, shrubs, peonies and hostas as spring turns to summer. The 12,000-square-foot greenhouse will offer herbs, perennials and unusual plants not found anywhere else. Workshops are held throughout the year to offer gardening tips and to share information. Peruse the Garden Barn full of boutique gift items for indoor and outdoor living spaces. In addition you can find garden equipment, kitchen gourmet foods and gadgets, linens and unique cards.
Quailcrest holds several events each year, including the Spring Garden Fair June 9-10 and Herb Fair Sept. 8 with a large juried selection of artists and craftsmen. Look forward to the Christmas Open House and the tradition of holiday soup and herb bread lunches in the farmhouse.
