The annual community Easter egg hunt in Walnut Creek will be held Saturday, April 1.
The annual community Easter egg hunt in Walnut Creek will be held Saturday, April 1. The hunt will start at 10 a.m. on the campus of Walnut Hills Retirement Community, located on Olde Pump Street in Walnut Creek.
Families are encouraged to come by 9:15 a.m. to register for the hunt and to participate in added activities including face painting and photos with the Easter Bunny. Refreshments will be served, and many prizes will be given away.
The hunt is sponsored by Walnut Hills and the Walnut Creek Business Association and is open to children age preschool to fourth grade. Children should dress for the weather, as the egg hunt will be held outside, rain or shine.
