Welcome Back: Dr. Linda Wang returns to Wooster Community Hospital

Wooster Community Hospital (WCH) is thrilled to welcome back Dr. Linda Wang as a general surgeon. Formerly a valuable member of the medical staff at WCH, she spent a year in New Zealand expanding her professional horizons while exploring the culture and customs of another country with her husband, Terry, a veterinarian, and their two children.
Dr. Wang has been practicing medicine for 20 years. Her skills as a surgeon allow patients to overcome disease and illness while she guides them to understanding their ailments as they recover. As a woman and a mother, Dr. Wang is a nurturer and it is apparent in everything she does.
Although she has a zest for the challenges of health care, it is her compassionate nature that draws her interest in the treatment of breast diseases and breast cancer. Because most patients with breast cancer are women, Dr. Wang feels that she is able to empathize with her patients more. Having been touched by cancer when her own family members were diagnosed, Dr. Wang has developed a better understanding of the needs of her patients.
A resident of Wayne County, Dr. Wang and her family share their farm with 17 sheep, a goat, two turkeys and a dog.
Dr. Wang is currently accepting new patients.
