Who needs candy, flowers and diamonds?

The old saying states that good things come in little packages. Well, in at least one instance this Christmas, good things came in incredibly massive proportions, thanks to a little ingenuity. This big, bright red ribbon surrounded the home of owners, Myron Ray and Ruth Ellen Troyer, of 3120 TR155, Sugarcreek, and their children, Linda Rose, Josiah Lynn and Carolyn Marie. The bow, a 40-foot behemoth, certainly stood out in contrast to the beautiful, elegant home, and no doubt served its purpose in making the event a special one for the Troyers, and for Ruth Ellen in particular. The new home was built by Berlin Construction for Myron and his family, as a gift to his wife for Christmas and for her 40th birthday. It was not noted if Ruth Ellen was asking for additional presents, since the home did double up for both her birthday and for Christmas, but chances are very good that she will be more than happy with her newest present serving for both special events. The Troyers moved into the new home on Christmas Day, having lived previously in an old house next to the new home. The ribbon and bow was a giant surprise for Ruth Ellen when she woke up on Christmas Eve morning.
