Summary: Downtown Wooster was the hottest spot in town on August 19 when thousands turned out for Main Street Woosters annual Concert and Cruise In.
Hundreds of hot cars filled the streets surrounding the Square in downtown Wooster when Main Street Wooster presented its annual Concert and Cruise In on August 19.
Downtown streets were lined with hundreds of classic, antique and custom cars, many of which were in town for the 32nd annual Buckeye Ramblin Rods Run and Roast being held at the Wayne County fairgrounds.
Car enthusiasts of all ages munched on fair food as they strolled the streets of downtown Wooster, taking in the sights of the one-of-a-kind cars meticulously crafted and cared for by classic car aficionados from throughout the area and the sounds of the Northeast Ohio 50s band Classic Trendz.
Presented by Main Street Wooster, the Concert and Cruise in was sponsored by D+S Distribution, Wooster Appliance Center and Long, Cook & Samsa.
The Concert and Cruise In is part of a series of special events presented by Main Street Wooster to showcase all that historic downtown Wooster has to offer.
Next up on the organizations busy calendar of events is an appearance by the College of Wooster Pipe Band and Highland Dancers on the Square at 5:00 p.m. on September 9, Art Under the Stars at 5:30 p.m. on September 16 and the Wooster Arts Jazz Fest on September 17.
