091911 Pulling for all theyre worth
Summary: Smoke billowed and engines roared as members of the local agricultural community competed in the local tractor pull during the Wayne County Fair.
Members of the local agricultural community showed that tractors can be used for more than just plowing fields when the Wayne County Fair hosted its annual local tractor pull on September 12.
The grandstands were filled with cheering fans throughout the afternoon as competitors took to the track to compete in a series of classes based on the weight of their tractors.
To the delight of the crowd, engines roared under the strain of the weight and black smoke billowed into the air as pullers from throughout the area competed to see how far they could pull a sled filled with weight down the track.
