Holsteins are known as the world's highest production dairy animal. With their history tracing back more than 2,000 years to the coastal Rhine region, they are well known for their distinctive black and white markings although some can be red and white. As with all open shows, all animals entered have to have registration papers. There will be 22 classes judged with cash and other prizes awarded. 7:00 Diesel 4x4 Truck/Tractor Pull, Grandstand Fairgoers’ enthusiasm for this event has made it a new uproarious tradition with its big full pull diesel trucks and tractors pulling a weighted transfer sled often with black smoke pouring out of vehicle’s stacks. An added element is that some of the trucks are road worthy but can still pull their weight on the track.
