SUMMARY: Some petitions rejected by BOE
City councils, school boards and township trustees could see some shaking up when voters take to the polls in the Nov. 5 election.
The Nov. 5 ballot was certified Aug. 19, Tuscarawas County Board of Elections Director Charles Miller said. A total of 12 candidate petitions were rejected because paperwork was not complete, Miller said.
The ballot has contested races across the board, as well as liquor options, income tax and tax levies.
Voters whose polling location was at the Mineral City Fire Department will be notified of a new polling location, Miller said.
