Happy chickens greet customers in their EZ-fit Miniature Chicken Coop at Alpine Structures just west of Winesburg on US 62 where you can see this and three other sizes of coops with a variety of options for the backyard farmer.
We have a large selection on our two lots so customers have the opportunity to see the buildings up close, said owner Javan Miller. And we have more than just products here. We have service and want our customers to see the value in their purchase when they do business with us.
Since 1981 when Millers own father started the business service has been a cornerstone of Alpine Structures. We have been around a long time and its because we do things right for our customers, said Miller.
STORY:
There was a time when a little red barn would pop up on the landscape every now and then as storage needs for outdoor tools and recreation grew. Nowadays nearly everyone has found the convenience of a standalone structure for storage to be indispensible.
In addition to storage solutions, Alpine Structures can provide a workshop, studio or pool house custom built for your lifestyle needs. The choices dont end there either. Alpine Structure constructs buildings suitable for offices, weekend getaway and hunting cabins, horse barns and large loft barns with so many options customers can truly design them to suit their needs.
Using only the highest quality materials Alpine Structures starts with a strong frame of 2"x4" SPF Kiln dried lumber. All 6'6" and taller walls have an extra horizontal wall brace for superior wall strength. All barn style buildings have 2"x8" top plates and all framing is done with screw shank nails.
Alpine Structures uses the best flooring with optional tongue and groove pressure treated wood for optimal strength and durability. Superior siding in choices like Ponderosa Pine or maintenance-free vinyl will keep your building looking new for years to come. Even the standard barn siding will add value and give character to your home or business. With 25 year shingles or the popular metal roofing your building will be able to withstand the elements of the regions unpredictable weather.
Alpine Structures has grown and as your family does the same you might find the need for more storage space or a larger garage to accommodate a second or third car. In sizes as big as 20 x 40 with doors as large as 16 feet, a new garage on your prepared foundation can be affordable and designed to look great with your current home and outbuildings.
Chicken coops are in stock and ready for delivery so you can begin raising your own layers before the warm weather sets in. Available in four different sizes, the coops can accommodate up to 22 birds. Preassembled or in kit form, Alpine Structures chicken coops come with standard features that include ramps, doors, egg collection boxes and special openings for ventilation. Optional features like skid runners and detachable outside screened runs make your coop mobile so its better for the birds and for your yard and garden.
At Alpine Structures Miller and his staff know your time is valuable and will coordinate delivery and construction at your convenience. Because we have such a large in-stock inventory we can get things to the customer rather quickly, said Miller.
Details matter to you and that is why Alpine Structures offers choices for any budget. Many of our buildings come with so many great standard features they are affordable and come ready to use. Custom orders with optional features are available as well, said Miller. Our higher end line offers transom windows, cupolas and weathervanes, ramps, decorative flower boxes and brackets, fancier hinges and shutters.
The regions first to offer on-site construction, eliminating access problems and size limitations, Alpine Structures has been a leader in the industry because of their superior workmanship, skilled craftsman and a reputation that has allowed this second generation family-owned company to serve the region and beyond for more than 30 years.
Customers can find the best value when they choose Alpine Structures and that only gets better during the annual spring sale with a 12% discount through the entire month of April. Additional savings can be had April 26-28 and customers will be treated to refreshments when they shop Thursday and Friday from 7a.m.-5p.m. and Saturday from 8a.m.-3p.m.
