The cost of the two workshops is $174. Returning students will receive a discount of $25. Scholarships are available for farmers by contacting Gary Neeves, course administrator, at gary@bionutrient.org or 774-573-6804. Dan Kittredge is the founder of the Bionutrient Food Association (BFA). Founded in 2008, the mission of BFA is to increase the nutritional value of food by educating growers and to facilitate the shift in market forces by educating consumers and purveyors. BFA proposes that if growers understand how to produce healthier food and consumers have the ability to make purchasing decisions based on quality, there will be a shift in the decisions that buyers, wholesalers and retailers make regarding where they source the food they choose to make available. The workshops will address the identification of deficiencies, vital health in the field, principals of biological farming and managing crops through the season. Wholesome Valley Farm is located at 927 US 62 at Wilmot.
