Every day is a good day for chocolate and with Coblentz Chocolate Company celebrating spring with chocolate covered strawberries for Mother’s Day and an open house on May 16-18 there is no sweeter time to stock up on old favorites and try something new as well. Two convenient retail locations in Walnut Creek and Berlin make it possible to enjoy handmade chocolates and other confectionary delights when you visit Ohio’s Amish County this spring. Locals and visitors alike enjoy the sweet indulgences created by hand in a facility located in what was once a private residence. With several expansions along the way, Coblentz Chocolates has grown both in size and in production capabilities. In the beginning the shop was producing 40 types of candy and now has more than 100 varieties to temp customers. The candy maker caters to retail and wholesale customers and is a favorite for those near and far with a convenient online order system. Coblentz can ship anywhere in the world. The yearlong 25th Anniversary event that began last October is in full swing at the premier family-owned business that makes chocolate an affordable luxury. Coblentz Chocolates is located at 4917 SR 515, Walnut Creek and a second location at 4860 E. Main St. Berlin.
