Creekside Gardens celebrates their 10th and final year in Strasburg

Celebrating Strasburgs 10th and Final Year is the theme at Creekside Gardens and Gifts as winter turns to spring in the region. Owner TJ Wilkins along with wife Tonya has decided to concentrate on their landscape business Bluegrass Inc. located in Jackson Township.
The bittersweet decision to close the Strasburg location was not made lightly. We are not going out of business, said Wilkins. We are choosing to move in a different direction in business and at this time our plans do not include the Strasburg property. We plan to keep our New Philadelphia store open beyond this year however.
Creekside at Strasburg will offer a full line of bedding plants, herb and vegetable starts as well as shrubs, bushes and trees. Statuary, gifts, garden décor, fountains and Christmas Shop items will be available as always. Landscaping materials like soil and mulch will be fully stocked. We have trucks loads coming in daily and that will continue the whole season, said Wilkins. Its business as usual.
Customers can expect the same great service and selection they always have at Creekside as well as the traditional weekly sales and sales on plants. We will have great sales on items we wont carry at our new location and as inventory depletes of course what is left will get marked down even lower, said Wilkins. You can shop early and get the best at a great deal or wait until Christmas and get what is left. Dont delay as when its gone its gone.
Customers are encouraged to visit Creekside Garden and Gifts for all their garden and landscaping needs. I was ten years younger when I built Creekside. The difference in 34 and 44 is huge in how you view things, said Wilkins. Strasburg has been one of the most exciting things I have ever done. We built it when the economy could not have been any better and then we survived one of the worst recessions ever. We have had a lot of great experiences and met a lot of great people.
