Summary: Lifetree Café is a weekly conversation that gives participants an opportunity to ask important questions, share opinions or simply listen to topics that are relevant today. New Pointe Community Church is well known in the community for helping individuals reach their full potential in Jesus Christ. In keeping with the tradition of sharing engaging messages, New Pointe invites the public to Lifetree Café, a weekly host-led conversation that welcomes attendees to talk or simply to listen if they choose each Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Jitters Coffee House. At Lifetree Café your thoughts are welcome as well as your doubts. Each week a different topic is discussed, sometimes serious, sometimes funny, sometimes quirky but always meaningful. Lifetree Café engages people of all ages in a national conversation with a focus on life and faith through local chapters as well as a robust online presence. The organization’s website, www.LifetreeCafe.com offers a complete schedule of upcoming topics as well as allows visitors to participate online in the same topical conversations that occur each week at the live venues. “Our goal is to create environments where people can connect and have meaningful conversations, have fun and build relationships,” said Pastor Chad Stutzman of New Pointe Community Church. “Lifetree Café helps to do that by offering a variety of topics that are video based. People can come grab a cup of coffee and listen in on the topic of the night and then join in a casual conversation about that topic at their tables. Upcoming conversations include Religious Freedom (Sept 17), Secrets of Finding Contentment (Sept. 24), On the Brink: Islam and the Middle East (Oct. 1), Only One Way to God? (Oct. 8), Wrongly Accused (Oct. 15), Make the Most of Your Life (Oct. 22) and Haunted (Oct 29). Visit the website for the topics featured in November and December. Jitters Coffee House is located at 1545 S. Washington St., Millersburg. Questions about Lifetree Cafe may be directed to Chad Stutzman at 330-943-2012 or cstutzman@newpointe.org.
