At Buckeye Career Center, their mission is to prepare youth and adults to make informed career choices and to successfully enter, compete and advance in the changing world of work. Offering full-time career training classes in agriculture, computer technology, cosmetology, human interests, crafts, industry and engineering, public safety, truck driving and a host off never-before offered classes beginning spring 2012, Buckeye Career Center is keeping pace with the job market to help you to prepare for a successful career. New classes include Cooking Easy Meals, Line Dancing; jewelry making that includes Earrings Galore, Three-Ring Circle Cuff Bracelet and Stretch Cuff Bracelet. A Paramedic Refresher Course is available for those wanting to maintain their paramedic level in the state or national registry. Basic and advanced writing classes are available to assist you in tapping your literary potential as well as classes that will help prepare you for a career in the oil and gas industry. An EPA Test class includes optional study sessions for the technician certification exam. Full-time adult education programs are accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement. This accreditation enables them to participate in Title IV federal financial aid programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education.
