A quiet country setting that is off the beaten path yet close to local attractions makes Holmes with a View a favorite place to stay when visiting Ohios Amish Country. This unique bed and breakfast features six private suites on the rolling hills of Amish farmland and is unlike any other place to stay in the region.
Guests can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views that change with every season and a plethora of amenities both indoors and out.
Innkeepers John and Fannie Mae Miller purchased the inn in January 2013 from longtime innkeepers Paul and Miriam Grossi. The Millers are no strangers to the business, having worked closely with the Grossis since the beginning, serving in a variety of capacities from supervising remodeling efforts, housekeeping, guest check-in and management.
The Millers have already made friends with returning guests and are anxious to make each stay in Holmes County a memorable one. Over the years we have learned what works best is simply giving our guests what they want, said Fannie Mae Miller. They always remark on our attention to detail.
Details are apparent in each suite. Guests can enjoy coffee, tea, juices and homemade bread with jams and jellies in their suites before a day on the town or simply relaxing in the quiet comfort of the country.
Known for honoring the requests of their guests, Holmes with a View wants each visit to Amish Country to be a memorable one. Suites are equipped with all the modern conveniences, such as flat screen televisions with satellite programming. Full kitchens and kitchenettes are available for guests anxious to try their hand at Amish Country cooking. Tastefully decorated suites are spacious and include comfortable seating, gas fireplaces and, best of all, a respite from the chaos of daily life.
Autumn is a popular time of year to visit Ohios Amish Country and call Holmes with a View home for a weekend or even longer. Crisp mornings, temperate days and the show of fall colors are spectacular and make for a memorable visit.
Holmes with a View will offer a variety of special packages in suite six, the newly remodeled romantic suite that features a convenient kitchenette, king-sized bed, luxurious bedding, fireplace, radiant floor heat and a two-person whirlpool. Outside, guests can enjoy the private hot tub on the screened-in deck. They even provide the bathrobes.
Marti and Einar stayed in suite six for the first time in July. "This is the beginning of a wonderful relationship. We cant wait to come back with family and friends, said the couple from Michigan. We enjoyed just sitting outside with our coffee and tea enjoying the beautiful views. We cant wait to return in the fall to enjoy the brisk mornings and fall colors. Thanks for the hospitality."
"This is a wonderful place to stay, said Judy and Cori from western Ohio. This little trip was for my birthday and I will always remember the view and comfort of this place and area."
Package choices will include breakfast or dinner for two at a local restaurant, gift baskets featuring a host of local products, in-suite massages or tickets to one of the regions many events.
