Too cute clothing at 2 Cute Kids Boutique By Patricia M. Albrecht A one-stop shop for trendy clothing to outfit your child is right off the square of downtown New Philadelphia at the labeled designer store 2 Cute Kids Boutique. Cach Cach, Peaches & Cream, Plum Pudding, Pink Ginger, Sozo, Mallory May, E Land Kids, Rileyroos, Wee Ones, and His GEM are the brand names carried for preemie to seven sizes in boys and preemie to size 16 in girls. “We opened in March of this year,” said owner Peg Billow. “Everything in the store is new designer clothing, and we also have several other items for baby shower gifts and special occasions.” Diaper bags, photo albums, infant shoes, organic soaps and shampoos, and Ohio State items for boys and girls for the fall season are available as well as a line of tutus that 2 Cute Kids Boutique finds hard to keep in the store. “As soon as the tutus come in,” said store manager Mia Davis, “they’re sold right away. We have tons of hair bows in the boutique, and we are looking into more accessories also.” The décor of the shop is definitely geared toward children with brightly-colored walls and a dressing room kids can enter through a large, yellow front porch complete with a bench and rocking chair. If the registry is used, a back room in the boutique is available for baby showers, tea parties, fashion shows, and other special events. Family helps out at the boutique including Mia Davis’ mom Angie Davis, grandmother Rose Mushrush, cousin Cressa Beitler, and uncle Jim Willoughby as well as friends of the family Denise Zeigler and Dana Gaskill. “On August 5,” said Mia Davis, “we were selected to participate in the Hall of Fame Fashion Show at the Civic Center in Canton. Our models were local children Hannah Neff, 8, Jillian Galambos, 9, and Ryann Pipes, 7.” Hours for 2 Cute Kids Boutique are Monday through Friday 10-5:30, Thursday 10-8, and Saturday 10-4. Although the shop is an up-scale clothing store, prices are very reasonable. They are extending the side walk sale that recently took place.
