29th Annual Pancake Day, Saturday March 1. The Westwood Ruritan Club and Wooster Township Firefighters will be serving “all the pancakes you can eat”, whole hog sausage, applesauce, and beverages at Triway High School on Saturday, March 1, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Cost is $6.00 at the door. Tickets purchased in advance cost $5.00. They are available at the Wooster Township Fire Station, Helms Barber Shop and Guerne Heights Drive-In. Children under age 8 are free and carry-out is available. Proceeds will be used to provide additional water rescue training and equipment for the countywide Underwater Search and Rescue Team operated by Wooster Township Fire Department, as well as, to add reflective stripping to the back of emergency vehicles, improving visibility and safety on the highways.
