Golf outing funds Alumni Legacy Scholarships
The Kent State Tuscarawas Alumni Association is sponsoring the 20th annual Scholarship Golf Outing on Monday, June 21 at Oak Shadows Golf Club.
The Kent State Tuscarawas Alumni Association is sponsoring the 20th annual Scholarship Golf Outing on Monday, June 21 at Oak Shadows Golf Club. Registration for the four-player, 18-hole scramble will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. Greens fees include light lunch and steak dinner.
The registration deadline is June 14. All proceeds benefit Alumni Legacy Scholarships for deserving students at Kent State Tuscarawas. The event is open to all.
Several levels of sponsorships are available. “It’s a fun way companies and individuals can get involved to help out our students,” Kent State University at Tuscarawas dean and chief administrative officer Brad Bielski said. “We are always striving to provide more opportunities and access for local individuals to pursue college.”
Over the past 19 years, this annual event has raised more than $75,000 and provides funds for four $1,000 Alumni Legacy Scholarships awarded yearly, sustains the Alumni Legacy Scholarship endowment fund, and supports the growth and development of the Kent State Tuscarawas Alumni Association.
